Psychological Fragility and its Relationship to the Risk Beliefs of Smoking Behavior Among Adolescent Students - A field Study at Abu Al-Qasim Al-Zahrawi Secondary School-

Abstract
The aim of the current study was to investigate the statistically significant relationship between psychological fragility and beliefs about the risks of smoking behavior among adolescent students, and to assess the prevalence of smoking risk beliefs among educated adolescents. Additionally, the study aimed to explore the differences in smoking behavior based on educational status, as well as to examine the relationship between years of smoking and age. The appropriate descriptive methodology was employed for such studies, utilizing the Psychological Fragility Scale (Al-T'aani, Ababneh, & Khamaiseh, 2022) and the Smoking Behavior Beliefs Scale (Khalifa, 2000). The study sample consisted of 95 educated adolescent students. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS 22 statistical package. The results indicated:
- There is a statistically significant relationship between psychological fragility and beliefs about smoking behavior among educated adolescent students at Abu Al-Qasim Al-Zahrawi Secondary School in Afula.
- There is a high prevalence of smoking risk beliefs among educated adolescent students at Abu Al-Qasim Al-Zahrawi Secondary School in Aflou Algeria..
- There is no relationship between smoking risk beliefs and age among educated adolescent students at Abu Al-Qasim Al-Zahrawi Secondary School in Afula.
- There are no statistically significant differences in smoking risk beliefs based on educational status among the sample population.
- There is a statistically significant relationship between years of smoking and psychological fragility among educated adolescent students.
- There is no statistically significant relationship between years of smoking and smoking behavior beliefs among educated adolescent students.
